Lake Lowell Comprehensive Planning Bulletin |
Premier Bass would like to thank those anglers who fished in 2009. We would also like to thank those sponsors who have helped us for over 10 years. Denton and Delane Crofts were our 2009 TEAM ANGLERS OF THE YEAR, congratulations to both of them. Over $50,000.00 was paid out for the year. Cascade Reservoir was a new lake added to our schedule last year. It provided some great fishing for anglers. The populations of Smallmouth Bass and Largemouth Bass have increased in size and numbers. For those anglers looking for new places to go, try Cascade Lake and you may be surprised to find out how good the fishing is.
Big O Tires (Tim Sawin) provided a great barbecue for anglers and staff at our championship at Lake Owyhee. Josh Polfer and Bruce Calhoun won the championship at Lake Owyhee. Our weigh crew is one of the best and we would like to thank: Jim and Margaret Thornock, Candie Ogstad, Georgia Meyers, Howard Davis, Fred Kwyzla, Clint and Andi Duesterbeck. Their help and dedication makes our tournaments run smooth.
Six lakes were on our 2009 tournament program. For 2010 we have made changes to our format. Last year we had dedicated team tournaments. You paid a membership fee and if you wanted an alternate you would pay for that also. This year we have decided to have 4 open tournaments instead of the 6 from last year. NO membership will be needed in 2010. So you can fish with a different partner at each tournament. There will be no championship at the end of the year. Also no newsletters will be sent out. You will find that information on our web page. Also included in your entry fee is a $10.00 fee for insurance for our tournaments.
Some changes to rules for 2010. Added is the 15 minute rule about weigh in. When the last team has weighed in, there will be a 15 minute period where we give an opportunity for teams to bring in their fish to be weighed in. We will check ramps for teams having trouble getting to weigh in due to traffic at ramp. If you have a problem please notify our staff or another boater that you will be late due to ramp congestion. It is the responsibility of each team to be aware of weigh in times and give yourself plenty of time to get there. Meeting Friday night at 7:00 P.M. to discuss rules and off limits. Also blast off numbers will be drawn.
Faxed entries will be considered official entries and each team is responsible for entry fee.
